Fairview
Hockey Rink
Our NHL sized outdoor hockey rink
is great for a pick-up hockey game, curling, bonspiels and skating
practices. Private bookings are available through the Sales Department.
The rink is lit, Zamboni maintained and available for group use. We
have a selection of skates available for rent.
Adventure Skating Loop
Skate through the trees on our
1 km long Zamboni maintained ice loop. Contact the Sales Department
to arrange a private bonfire with hot chocolate, marshmallows and
hot dogs at the loop to add a wonderful ambiance. The loop is lit
until 11 pm.
Cross-country Skiing
Nickelplate Nordic Centre offers
the longest season in Canada on 56 km of beautifully groomed trails
for classic and skate skiing.

Snowshoeing
One of the fastest growing snowsport
adventures. Exercise, have fun and frolic while enjoying fresh air
and natural beauty of Apex. There are plenty of snow shoeing trails
all over the resort from easy strollers to challenging hill climbs.
Ice Climbing
For the adventurist, why not put
your agility to the test with a climb up a 40 ft Ice Tower. Equipment
