Summer at Apex
07 Apex Mountain Bike Park
Bikes are back at Apex for the summer of 2007. We are opening the Quickdraw
high speed quad chair for all types of mountain biking and hiking. The
lift will open on weekends from June 30th to September 2nd. Apex has
2000 vertical feet of riding on a huge variety of terrain. We have easy
fire roads, mellow trails and knarly technical steeps.
This season will feature 8 downhill/ free ride runs, 30 km of lift accessed
cross country riding and over 150 km of cross country in the area.
The cross country riding at Apex offers cool breezes, huge vistas and magnificent forests. Ride through history as you view mine relics and stage coach inns from the days of old.

.
Beat the Heat
When it's scorching in the valley, Apex offers cool alpine days that let you rip without melting. On a really hot day Apex can be 10 to 12 degrees cooler than the valley.
Take a Hike
Apex Mountain Resort is a summer adventure waiting to be experienced! Take your family for a gentle walk up to the top of Apex on the Grandfathers Run while enjoying breathtaking scenery and meadows of alpine flowers.
Wander alpine meadows. Discover incredible wildflowers. Look for deer, ground squirrel, red-tailed hawk and other wildlife. Stay over night and be sure to enjoy snacks and fine dining in the village.
